Welcome Our 2009 Calendar will be published November 24th
RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Instructor (sail and power). Thirty years spent living and working around the west coast of Scotland have provided him with a wealth of knowledge about the area and its wildlife. After sailing well over 200,000 miles during this time he has now decided to share his knowledge with others - hence the sail training courses have been introduced. "Northern Wanderer" is a 48ft Westerly Oceanmaster fully equipped to take four guests safely and comfortably around the Hebrides, the Western Isles, to St Kilda and further afield. We offer two activities:
Wildlife Cruises around the Hebrides, the Western Isles and to St Kilda during the best wildlife months of May, June, July & early August. If you like sailing, or think you might, and you like wildlife and exploring the islands, then these trips are for you!!

Welcome
to Northern Wanderer with David Leaver, the well known wildlife guide,
naturalist and photographer.
Sail
training courses from
start yachting weekends to competent crew to Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore
preparatory courses. Held from
mid March to the end of April, and then mid August to October.
In the winter of 2009/10 we will be offering shore courses: RYA Yachtmaster
Coastal,Offshore and Ocean, VHF (DSC) and
1st Aid.
Above all, we
hope to continue to provide excellent service in the best sailing, the
very best wildlife guiding and now, in the best instruction.
